This expression was distilled at the Dallas Dhu distillery in 1976 and matured for 28 years before being bottled in March 2005 by independent bottler Douglas Laing for their Old Malt Cask series. Dallas Dhu, located in the Speyside region, ceased production in 1983, making this release a rare find for collectors and enthusiasts. The whisky was drawn from a single refill butt, yielding 422 bottles at a natural cask strength of 50% ABV.
